WIAW and Gingerbread Houses

I planned my entire day’s worth of meals around two objectives:

1. Tonight, be able to eat my body weight in gingerbread cookies as we were having our 3rd annual family gingerbread house extravaganza.

2. Run 3 miles the next day without throwing up on the treadmill. This is in order to keep up with my Holiday Running Streak goal. For those of you keeping track, I’m 8 miles into my 35 mile goal.

Note my fancy Christmas bowl. With a name like Holley, I’m expected to love this holiday. I won’t disappoint.

These meals are fit for a running champion! And then this happened…

And while I didn’t eat my weight in gingerbread, I probably ate Miss Rae’s weight, and she’s no featherweight. Pre-apologies to the lady who always runs next to my treadmill and always says good morning. For your sake, I’ll try to keep myself put together. For the man on the other side who never wipes down his treadmill, well, we’ll just see…
