Goji Berries: the “super” food

I’m not exactly sure which generational group I fit into. Am I Generation X or Y?

Here’s what I do know: Like every stereotype cast on people of my age, I like things “super”.

Not to be confused with “super sized” (I’m nothing if not a McDonald’s hater)…

And maybe it’s because I try to be all things to all people, but if I see a product that claims to be “super” and/or make ME super, well, sign me up!

I even like my men “super”…

Note: this was taken 7.5 seconds after Matty B woke up and he might’ve been slightly confused as to what was going on.

The word on the street is that goji berries are a “superfood”.

According to the authority of the world, WebMD, goji berries benefit in mental well-being and calmness, athletic performance, happiness, quality of sleep, and feelings of good health.

I need all of these things. All of ’em.

I cooked them with my oatmeal and added some bananas, almond butter and hemp hearts.

I like goji berries. They taste kinda like raisins.

Matty B took one look at my breakfast and said, “You eat such weird food.”

What does he know? Super Man doesn’t need goji berries. He already has mental well-being and calmness, athletic performance, happiness, quality of sleep, and feelings of good health.

The rest of us average people need some help.
