1. This kid starts school tomorrow:


My stomach is in knots.

2. I might’ve food poisoned myself. No one else feels sick, but I’m not at my best tonight.

Here’s what I ate today. Help me sleuth it out:


Yogurt, mango, peach and hemp hearts. I’d blame the yogurt for my stomachache (you know how I feel about nondairy yogurt), but that was 12+ hours ago. I think the yogurt is safe.


Lunch was a snack buffet. Carrots, cucumber and bell pepper with this artichoke hummus. Meh. I’m more of a hummus purist, I guess, cause this was a little too tangy for me.

Followed by 1/2 a watermelon. I’m not exaggerating. I’ve gone from a watermelon snubber to a watermelon addict in a matter of days. Those Hermiston melons are so good!


And then this larabar. Good, but not as good as the peanut butter cookie flavor.


Dinner was a stirfry of broccoli, cauliflower, pasta, pesto, mushrooms, corn and sundried tomatoes.

Followed by more watermelon. Can’t stop.

Maybe my watermelon is poisoned. Or maybe I’m allergic!

Or maybe I’m not ready for my baby to grow up and once he happily sails through his first day tomorrow, my stomach ailment will be miraculously cured…
